Sedona, Arizona Cliffside Elopement | Carly and Jacob
Carly and Jacob drove all the way from Arkansas to elope in the red rock of Sedona, Arizona. Their day was filled with intention and adventure, and was exactly how they envisioned celebrating this new chapter in their grand story together. Jacob’s father officiated their very intimate, small ceremony, with Jacob’s mother being their only guest (unless you count the magnificent towers of Cathedral Rock!). Following their ceremony, we made our way up the steep hike to the top of Cathedral Rock.
Carly and Jacob shared private, hand-written letters with each other while the desert sun lit up the magnificent red rock around them. They danced to their song as a few fellow hikers watched from afar and admired their adventurous spirits. One of those hikers was so thoughtful and snapped a polaroid of the moment (scroll to take a peek!). We explored the upper towers of Cathedral Rock until the sun had set and hiked down using our headlamps to light the way. We finished the night by signing their marriage license and it was so fun for me to sign as a witness to their marriage! It really was the perfect day!
